The Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail Cream

The Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail Cream Review

Hello Ladies,

Today I will talk about The Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail Cream. As you all know I am very fascinated by hand creams. I love collecting different hand creams and I use them regularly. Hand cream is a must have item in my bag daily. Of course, you will find different hand creams in my bag daily, not the same next day. I love fragrance on my hands all the time.

The Body Shop Almond & Nail Cream

The Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail Cream

Let’s talk about The Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail Cream. Body Shop is one of my favourite brand. As the company claims about this hand cream is

“Perfect for on-the-go hydration, don’t leave home without our manicure must have hand cream. With sweet almond oil and shea butter, your hands and cuticles will feel silky soft in no time.

Hand butter

Expert care for hands and nails

A manicure must have

Sweet almond oil

Honey from Ethiopia

Soya oil and Brazil nut oil from Brazil

Community Trade shea butter from Tamale, Ghana”

Hand creams are must in winters. I started using this hand cream when it was winters in Pune (not exactly a harsh winter, but bit cold weather). My hands are always dry in winters. Especially when I wash them frequently. I have dry skin (my body). So, in winters I can’t live with out body moisturisers and hand creams. As soon as you apply The Body Shop Almond hand & nail cream you feel creamy texture on your hands and your dry hands very quickly absorb and drink up all the cream you apply on. I love this when my dry hands quickly look so smooth and silky. As I keep applying this cream on my hands during day, I always use this cream before going to bed too. After my daily before bed face routine, I use hand cream as last and compulsory item. Wash your hands with warm water and dry them with towel and apply The Body Shop Almond hand & nail cream on them.

This cream is white in colour and great for dry skin. Hands feel so soft and smooth after applying almond hand & nail cream. Massage little bit on your nails as well. I feel change in my nails after using this continually for a month and more. When you wash your hands in the morning you feel soft and silky on your hands. If you don’t have dry skin, I would not recommend this for you. This cream never ever suits in the summers. I feel my hands oily all the time after applying this in summers. So, avoid using this in summer anyway. Always recommended for winters.

As company claims almond hand & nail cream has sweet almond oil, Almond oil is always good for skin and hair. In ancient times Almond oil and almonds used for glowing skin. This is true that in winters your hands started looking dark in colour because of dryness. Once I started using almond hand and nail cream I feel my hands were glowing and fair. Yes, you heard it right, my hands were glowing. Have you ever heard anyone saying that? 😊

I do not claim that this cream works in harsh winters, as I have never used this in harsh winters yet as winters in north India or here in Sydney’s cold climate. I have used this in Pune and it works well for me in there.

Pack Up !! Its Travel Time !!

Travelling can make many people nervous because of the packing hassles. It could be your first important trip or maybe you have been a globetrotter; who wouldn’t welcome a comprehensive travel checklist? Especially if you keep forgetting something or the other, then a checklist of travel essentials will come very handy.
First select your main bag or luggage.
The main thing is to pick a luggage, which is lightweight and not very huge to carry. Depending upon your requirements, decide out of a rolling luggage, a wheeled backpack, a duffel bag, a backpack or a shoulder bag or carry-on luggage. This depends upon the number of days and type of travel. A backpack would suit if it’s an informal short vacation; but you might need a rolling luggage if you are going for a conference and need to pack up formal shirts and blazers.  If you are travelling with kids, that’s another story. I will write about that in another article.

Secondly, follow a packing list.
The basic stuff
• Select lightweight clothes as per the weather
• While deciding the T-shirts, tops, jeans, pants etc, research about the culture of the country or city you are visiting and carry clothes accordingly
• Accessories like belts, socks, jacket
• Comfortable shoes
• Sleepwear
• Undergarments
• Sunglasses and if you wear other glasses or contact lenses
• Jewelry and watches
• If you are visiting a warm place or a beach, do carry scarf, stole or bandana
• Swimsuit or swimming trunks
• Cell phone with its earplugs and charger
• Travel pillow and eye mask
• Electric adapters and converter

The Toiletry Bag Basics
• Toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash
• Hair brush/comb
• Deodorant or perfume
• Shampoo and conditioner/ other hair care if any
• Sunscreen with SPF
• Face/body lotion
• Makeup kit (for all ladies ;))
• Face wash, cleanser and cotton swabs
• Personal hygiene items
• Feminine hygiene items
• Personal mini mirror
• Shaving kit and razors
• Facial tissues
• Scissors and nail clippers

Health Kit

• First aid kit
• Personal prescriptions (in case you are under any medication)
• Pain and fever medicines
• Thermometer
• Cold medicines
• Diarrhea medicines
• Allergy medicines
• Any basic antiseptic ointment
• Multivitamins
• Motion sickness pills

Don’t forget your personal items kit
Some things to keep in your carry-on kit or bag are:
• Mobile charger
• Laptop, iPad, and charger(s)
• Headphones
• Camera, memory card, and its chargers
• Books and magazines
• Water bottle
• Travel guides, maps, etc.

Important Travel Documents, Credit Cards and Cash

Now let’s see the International travel checklist:
• Valid Passport and visa(s)
• Personal ID like PAN card, Aadhar card etc or according to the country you are from.
• Credit cards – Make sure your credit card is up to date for use in foreign country. You should call your credit card company and make sure its safe to use in foreign country. I would recommend not to keep much cash while travelling.
• Health insurance document(s)
• Travel insurance document(s)
• Reservations or itineraries print outs or copies on your phone/email
• Hotel contact information
• Transportation tickets
• Any emergency contacts or important addresses you might need
